April 20th, 1999 was the day I nearly lost my life at Columbine High School and it was because of it that not even 24 hours later I was determined to be a storyteller. To hold both the power and purpose of a story in the tip of my pen, the click of a keyboard and the lens of a camera in hopes of changing minds, hearts, and lives is, and will always be, my passion. I have had a beautifully important career as a creative producer & director and yet to date my biggest accomplishment is being a mom to two incredible children, who teach me everyday never to take anything for granted. With joy I dance, ballet, CrossFit, hike, and love the sound of my kiddo’s fits of laughter as I fall off my skateboard, sing karaoke in our living room or read them books in all of my silly voices. I love life.
